Sir Keir Starmer to Push Allies on Advanced Missile Systems for Ukrainian Forces at UK Gathering

Britain's leader is expected to urge allies to deliver Ukrainian forces with more long-range missiles to strike enemy locations during discussions in London on Friday.

Britain's leader plans to receive Ukrainian President the Ukrainian head of state alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", consisting of over twenty of Ukraine's allies who have pledged to offer the Ukrainian government security guarantees once a ceasefire is negotiated.

Zelensky has been appealing for an extended period for more extended-range systems from the West, a move that the Russian government has cautions would intensify the conflict.

President Zelensky is coming from the EU capital, where he held talks with European Union officials on yesterday seeking funding aid.

Sir Keir is hoping to maintain the forward movement by escalating the leverage on the Kremlin to negotiate an end to the conflict.

Sir Keir will encourage leaders to expand the delivery of extended-range systems following a successful attack on a manufacturing site in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles.

"Furthermore, his horrific strikes on young children in a daycare this week show that perfectly obvious," he added.

A pair of children were included in a minimum of seven fatally wounded in numerous Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory, which targeted a daycare center in the important metropolitan area Ukraine's second city.

The Russian government initiated its comprehensive attack of Ukrainian territory in early 2022. It currently occupies about one-fifth of Ukrainian territory, encompassing the Crimean peninsula Moscow seized in 2014.
